More PreView

The world will open up more when you are ready to head west from the Treacherous Taiga. Another town waits for you, but first you must cross the Rowdy River.

The monsters here are a little tougher than you've been used to, so you can use that to tell if you're ready to move on.

To cross the river, take the Do-It-Yourself Ferry. But...

The first time you cross, you will be attacked along the way!

This level is a straight up mash-em-up, with enemies reinforcing in for a while. Just kill all of the enemies.

This battle is sort of a "test;" you will need a certain level of skill with the game, and equipment, to win. If you're having trouble, go looking for better loot, or hunt down secret levels for those optional minibosses that give Objective Points!

After you successfully cross, you will probably want to simply head west to the new town, Tweestad.

Tweestad is a lot larger than Einsburg, so there's plenty to investigate. Here you can see the Arena, the Bazaar with franchises of all the shops, and the Candy Mansion where Bobby Joe is waiting for you to find all the presents so he can establish a monopoly in the gifts industry.

There are also a few residences, and a bustling highway outside. If you cross the highway, there is an abandoned farm on the other side. It is an optional area, but you can find loot there, of course.

In the residences, you can find Sharona, and turn in those Bokboks you've been collecting! I moved her, and the Bokboks, to the surface so you can find them all and do any Magicsmithing you like much earlier. You can actually find all 10 Bokboks and begin Magicsmithing before destroying the Toy Factory!

Curaga also has a cottage here... but where is she? You will have to find her to deliver the letter from Healiana...

In addition to exploring the town, you should head to the south from the Rowdy River just outside. The Gelid Grove is where you will find Mimics. The best way to reach them is to use a sharpened axe to chop down the tree. The monsters on the island can also cross this bridge.

The Gelid Grove is also crawling with some very rare enemies! The Fruit Punch is pictured above... in Loonyland 2, the Fruit Punch was only created by the Deathberry Bush, an arena-only enemy. In Absurd Area, the Fruit Punch is occasionally a wandering random enemy. Watch out, they hit hard! This area also has randomly spawned Magic Hat enemies, so, don't get swarmed.

And, if you're touring the area, you should head west from the Gelid Grove to see the Toy Factory...

But, the gate is locked! How will you be able to get in?

Well, I won't give everything away just yet... you've got a little exploring to do first.
